Universal DSLR Camera Gimbal

Bringing my passions for photography and engineering together, I designed and built a 2-axis universal DSLR time-lapse gimbal equipped with motorized focus and zoom. The gimbal uses encoded stepper motors and a custom-designed gear system to enable smooth, precise movement free of motor strain. An onboard battery enables infinite yaw rotation and in-field use. To control the gimbal, I coded a web application that runs locally on the gimbal's microcontroller and can be used on any Wi-Fi device. The software also allows time-lapse sequences to be programmed.
