Hi there! My name is Andrew Stollmeyer, and I am currently in my sophomore year as a mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University. I am originally from San Diego, California, and have a lifelong passion for engineering and problem-solving. My main interests lie in robotics, automation, and sustainable engineering, with many of my personal projects focusing on using robotics to simplify tedious human tasks and lowering environmental impact through renewable energy systems. I am proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, and Fusion 360, and have experience with finite element analysis. I am also very interested in advancing manufacturing processes and have extensive experience in SLA/FDM 3D printing, as well as in designing under strict fabrication constraints. Currently, I am part of Northeastern University's Electric Racing (FSAE) team, where I am working to design and fabricate a center-locking hub-and-nut system to replace the existing 4-bolt lug-nut system, lowering the vehicle's unsprung mass and wheel-removal time. For more information about my experience in engineering, take a look at my resume and project portfolio. Feel free to message me via LinkedIn or email with any questions!
